- China Major producer of cassia (Guangxi, Guangdong), exporting both sticks and powder while also importing for blending; a key player in the bulk segment according to trade overviews.[2][6]
- India A growing exporter with cinnamon exports rising from 1,618 tonnes in 2019–20 to 2,096 tonnes in 2020–21, while still being a net importer to meet strong domestic demand for blended masala and industrial use.[2]
